this morning there were 3 ladies stood near the door
saying the normal (can i help you)
no i said i need to pay a bill
well if you have the right money you can pay at a machine
no i said i will pay at the counter
there were 2 counters open and 4 people waiting
so after waiting very patiently i called a lady over
can i help you she said
yes i said open a till if its not to much trouble
cant do that she said
i eventually got served at a counter
its always the same in there i shall now send a complaint to there head office rant over

It's so annoying isn't it Saundra :? We and the boys have savings accounts with Nationwide and the counter service is so slow that I try to avoid actually going into the local branch if I can help it. My parents give me savings for the boys every month but what I do now is keep the cash that they give me and then I transfer the same amount online from our Barclays account into their Nationwide savings accounts. The only time I need to go in now is if I want to withdraw anything from our savings account or when either of the boys are given cheques on their birthdays and Christmas.

So annoying, Saundra, banks or financial institutions don't seem to want to behave like banks any more

We had 20+ viewers at the open viewing this morning - will get feedback from estate agent on Monday.

Osc, that open viewing idea seems good. My neighbour's house has been on the market for weeks without any interest, I'll pass the idea on. :D :D :D

Grrrr!
MIL is coming to stay on Wednesday night, then driving to Norwich on Thursday morning to stay with friends there. She's then back again on Sunday night before driving home on Monday
Not visiting because she wants to see us, just because we're a convenient half way point in her journey.
