We are having a lazy lie in, just us again this weekend and Mick is taking a day off from painting He's done the en suite ceiling and the walls of stairs, landings and hall so far

We've got it Beautifully bright and sunny here, admittedly not very warm, hope you all get a share before long

Had a busy start which I hate and have only just had time to sit here with a coffee.
And soon the washing will have finished spinning but what a treat to be able to hang it outside, unbelievably yesterday was the first day I could do that this year
Bb's working, I've a few things to do then will decide whether to walk into town or wait till he's back - no idea when that might be though

Morning all, been up since quite early doing a final clean around for our open viewing - the house is possibly the cleanest it has been in 37 years Just waiting now for the show arounder woman to arrive, then we shall take ourselves off for a cuppa in the local deli. Nothing major planned for the rest of the day, Mr. Osc will be watching rugby. Dull and windy day here but at least it's not raining. Have a good day everyone

Morning all

We're off to the races later this morning http://www.barbadosturfclub.org/ it's the biggest racing event of the year over here so the place will be crowded and the parade halfway through the day should be great fun to watch. We made sure to book allocated seats, much too long a day to be standing and also being in the grandstand will give us some shade. Really looking forward to it
