News about Cal

I think many of you know Cal who posts on here from time to time and was a member of the old DM boards.

She collapsed on Wednesday and was taken into hospital and is undergoing tests. We were all worrying about her and couldn't seem to get any news, but I actually managed to speak to her this morning, having fought through the iron fence round the hospital! She had just come back from having a scan and sounded fairly bright on the phone. She may be allowed to go home possibly even tomorrow. I don't think they are any nearer a diagnosis as yet.

Oh no Rodo, poor Cal!

Do hope they find out the cause and can sort it out, and of course hope Cal can go home very soon too.

They were so kind in the end in the hospital ward letting me speak to her in person on their phone that I won't bother them again, but hopefully she will be able to post herself soon.

Gosh, what a worry - poor Cal. Hopefully they do find out soon what is wrong, but on the other hand every test they do at least should be ruling things out.

The latest is that she has had one scan which showed up nothing and is to have an MRI with dye tomorrow.
