This Lumix is the one I had Ally. I've taken well over 1500 photos with it in 6 months or so and I've only been happy with a handful of them. I've not managed to get one of Billy that has any definition to it, even if he's sleeping and therefore still.

This is my new Sony and the first photo I took was off Billy in the kitchen and the clarity of the picture is lovely.

How odd Jo - that's almost the same as mine and I'm delighted with the clarity and definition it gives me. :?

I had a fabulous Sony one for my 50th and the screen got damaged..I wept. :(

Afternoon all, it was a lovely morning here although it has started to cloud over now. We had the estate agent here this morning at 9.30am to take photos so it was great that it was nice, particularly for photos of the garden. We were up early as I had to change our bed, be finished in the bathroom so we could display the nice new towels and do a final runaround of tidying. Estate agent was very happy with it all, took some lovely photos, he was here 1½ hours. After he went we couldn't settle to anything, so went to the local deli for coffee and a bun, and then went for a bit of a stroll. After we came back, I remade the bed, changed back to the "in use" towels, cleared out the drawer in my bedside locker, did some emails and now I am very tired. Mr. Osc has cut the grass and is making pancake batter in the kitchen - he wants to walk to the garden shop, so I'll probably go with him. Estate agent is supposed to get back to us later on when he has decided what price to put for the asking price, there is no other house in the area like this, so he has nothing to use for comparison. He hopes to have it on the internet today or tomorrow, so I'll give you a link when I have it.

Enjoy your day everyone :)

It's all go then now Osc! :D

Ally, the only time I've been satisfied with any photos is on sunny days so maybe that's something to do with why you're getting better results with it than I am

Our first digital camera was a Sony, in 2002 - we paid close to £400 for it and it was only 3MP  It was a fab camera though :D

Good afternoon, all. Hope you are all well.

We've been so busy here lately, I haven't had much time on my laptop. Our Lodge Manager is leaving us
tomorrow and we all feel so sad about losing her, as she is is such a lovely caring person and we all love
her, except for the one who has engineered her departure. Mrs A has organised the collection for a
farewell gift and we went into town to buy it yesterday. The farewell event is tomorrow morning, and
I am not looking forward to it as she is bound to be emotional about leaving us, and I shall have to keep
biting my tongue - you can guess why. I have lain awake nights thinking what I can say, but have finally
decided it would be best to say nothing.

The weather seems more amiable today. Could it be that Spring is arriving?
