Well, that was a different morning

Friend sent a text early, she was waiting at the clinic - ulcer, been at hospital all night, had to get doc to arrange scans etc.

We were on our way to Tavira, but came back (all heart, me ;) ) she'd left the doc's by the time we got home  so rang her and she was at home, went down to see her and then we walked the dogs along the beach.

So she's not that bad - but a nurse and always looks at things differently

But as it's carnival time, the chemist is shut, the clinics are shut, so she can't arrange scans etc until tomorrow.

I'm now going to have breakfast

Lol you sound just how I feel Ton :D
Rushed out at 9.40, hoping not to be too long as Bb was waiting for the car, but didn't get back till just after 11, so he and I trying to catch up with each other while he's packing his bag and telling me where he's going and when he might be back. The dog's all excited because I've come back and then confused that he's going at the same time, all doors opening and closing several times :D
I finally sat with my 'breakfast' of coffee and crispbreads at about 11.30 :D
You and I need today to start now

Morning all :D

Another bright and sunny day here 8-)

Good luck to lissie, hope she managed to get help with transport x

We're having a gad about kind of day. Brekkie first then we're going to the Concorde Experience http://www.barbadosconcorde.com/ afterwards we'll pop into the garrison to get a programme for Saturday's racing and then finish the day with a mooch round Bridgetown.

Hope you're all having a good day :D

I have turned into a pipe! :o

What goes in one end takes no time at all to come out of the other.

I will not be going far today even though it is fairly warm and sunny with broken clouds.

Afternoon all, it's pretty sunny and mild here too :)

Had an argumentative start to the day today. Flippin' kids!! :( It started when Joe came downstairs minus his tie. I asked where it was and he said he'd lost it in the PE changing rooms yesterday. In less than a year he's lost this tie, a pair of shorts, a polo shirt with the school logo, a rugby shirt again with the logo, a pair of jogging bottoms - in fact it's only his PE socks that haven't been lost from his whole kit - and he's also had £5 taken from his blazer pocket. What annoys me as much as his carelessness is that all of his kit is labelled with his name yet nothing has been returned. Surely kids are having their kit washed so wouldn't it be noticed that they'd got two of the same items if it's being picked up by mistake? I've told him now that I'm not buying a replacement tie. This one was a replacement for one that he wrecked last school year and he was told then that if anything happened to this one then he'd be buying the next one. Problem is, he got his pocket money on Saturday and is now down to just £3 to last him until April 1st - and ties cost £6. He needs to learn to take responsibility for things though and not just assume that whenever something gets lost or broken we'll bail him out with a replacement :?
As for Tom, he was in an evil bad mood :x

Because of that start I've not felt like taking Billy out yet and I've got a new camera to play with too so planned a walk over the common. John bought me a camera last Summer, a tiny little Panasonic Lumix which would fit into a jeans pocket on dog walks or not take up any space in my bag when out but I've really struggled with getting any decent photos with it so he's reclaimed that for when he goes on bike rides and he's bought me a Sony one which is even tinier than the Panasonic, I've been snapping around the house and so far it seems so much better. We'll go out a little later.

Looking forward to pancakes later though :D
