stupid Teacher versus 10 year old

Just turned a programme on where a teacher was competing on TV with ten year old youngsters called "Are you smarter than a ten year old^? spelling was the last subject.
She the teacher was asked to spell inconvenient. She spelled it after a lot of thought "Inconveniant". No wonder so many of our children are failing in schools. Unbelievable the young ten year old got the spelling of the word correct . The teacher? "As thick as pudding"

I'm afraid I've seen many instances of teachers who are unable to spell To my mind this started when teachers no longer corrected spellings on their pupils' work, unless it was in an English lesson I started noticing that 20 years ago on my eldest son's homework I suppose the pupils of 20 years ago are now the teachers - who cannot spell
