Maybe our washbasin's a bit higher than yours, Ally & Ton

I invented something which came to be referred to as a "bendy" in our little dancing world - I can put one foot at a time up into the washbasin to soak in cold water and then be soothed with pepperminty foot gel after a busy night's dancing! This is no mean feat (see what I did there ) in the confines of a typical Blackpool b&b bathroom

Osc years ago when I worked in the wine bar, it was completely non-stop, really hard going, especially in the summer and around Christmas.
Our shared remedy was to go home, rush upstairs, turn the cold bath tap full on and put one foot in turn under the blast for a good few minutes. It's magic, and much more effective than a cold soak

I can still do the splits - although not at the same time as the right ankle going by my ears.

That would be some party trick!

I can just picture a bunch of ladies, in the loos, demonstrating their drung bendiness

I can't do the splits, never could
