Morning all :D

Ooooh how exciting Di, now you'll have us all guessing til you spill the beans.

Another bright and sunny day here, off to the beach shortly.

Hope you're all having a good day :D

Good afternoon all, it's quite bright and cold here but at least the forecast snow didn't materialise!

I'm tired! We went on a crazy spur of the moment wild goose chase last night. We went to do the shopping and when we got back I unpacked it whilst John walked Billy. Once I'd finished I ran to meet them. Got back, made us a cuppa each, switched on the laptop and by this time it was 10pm. I looked at Twitter and there were loads of reports about the Northern Lights being viewed, even as close as Telford....so John and I threw on coats and boots, drove up and parked on the Chase and walked. It was at that point we realised that we'd left the bike lights at home so we were walking in the pitch black. We knew a high and open north facing spot (actually you can see east and west too) so headed for there...and stood...and watched...and stood...and watched....but we didn't see anything so gave up after an hour  It was a beautifully clear night though and the sky was full of stars, it was quite something to stand there in the pitch black and see them.

I've been to the gym and Billy's had his morning walk. The bathrooms have been cleaned too. John's taking Joe bowling this evening. I might hitch a ride with them and see if we can pop into Ikea afterwards :D That'll be after we've had Jambalaya for dinner :D

Have a good day all!
