Good morning Wednesday

Postby debih » 26 Feb 2014, 08:15

Good morning all. Lovely here this morning.

Work for me til 2pm then usual weekly governor stuff plus a governors meeting. I'm finding it difficult to muster up any enthusiasm for it - November can't come soon enough. I was going to stand down sooner but it doesn't feel right so I shall keep going til the AGM in November when the Chair and vice chair are officially voted for. At least there is no school for 6 weeks inbetween. I still haven't mentioned it to anyone other than my good friend who is also a governor - I will bring it up at the June meeting so will tell the head a couple of weeks before. I'm worried (and my friend agrees) that if I mention it too soon it will give the others too much time to think up excuses and also will give the head time to pile loads of stuff on me to do before I stand down.

I have a feeling that two other governors will stand down in October as their 4 year terms are up then which makes it difficult but nothing will persuade me to carry on doing it,

Coffee with a friend tonight between the Guide run!

Good morning. :D

It's like a lovely Spring morning here. :D

After yesterday's mega hike and last night's impromptu hooley I'm staying at home this morning.

We're getting the train to Fuengirola late afternoon for a walk along the coast and going for a few beers and a bite to eat. :D

Enjoy the day everyone.

Morning everyone

Lovely morning here :D :D

We're off to Tavira, as Grumpy has some work to do in Danckert's little house. I'll stroll around Tavira, stopping for a coffee with a friend and pop into the charity shop to have a look-see for books. Last week was a bit dire :(

Doing a Rick Stein recipe for dinner tonight - been experimenting a lot this month

Hope you all have a good day and enjoy the sunshine xx :D

Morning campers! :D It's sunny here too - looks gorgeous out there especially with my garden full of daffs 8-)

Minor chaos here first thing - Mick got back from walking the dawgs, switched on his work laptop, looked at his diary - and there was the dental apt he thought was tomorrow, for 9-30 this morning  :? So he's made a few quick phone calls to make sure there is cover and is off to Cheltenham   Nt sure what else I'm doing today, apart from a walk of course. Might pop and see D this afternoon :)

Debih good luck at your meeting xx

Ally that sounds lovely - enjoy :D x

Loz good luck at the hossie xx

Have a nice time in Tavira Ton :) x

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning :)
Lovely here too, all bright and shiny :D

Have to pop to the hospital for a blood test so am having a second coffee as well as 3rd glass of water to try and help a bit.
Kaz these men aren't doing very well with keeping track of their appointments are they?! At least M realised in time to get there :)
Saundra we can tell Spring's on its way as we have a tiny bit of sun right up by the back gate, just for a little while :D When we win the lottery we're going to have a proper south-facing garden, with plenty of sun-traps and bits of shade too :)
Ton enjoy Tavira, Ally glad you're enjoying half-term, Loz good luck to your finger :)
Debih it's hard isn't it, when you know you've had enough x

Enjoy the sunshine all
