Houses for sale

For our homes and gardens

Yes, it is  But I'd have it as an outside kitchen, I think.

We know the owner is deperate, it was on for over 300,000 about a year ago but he's turned down an offer of 150,000. We just think they lay-out is odd and just a bit too big.

But never say never ;)

It's definitely worth a look! :D

I'm trying to work out what our neighbour is doing, those joined on whose house has apparently sold (again, and within days of going on the market) even though no estate agents board has ever been in place. We have very little front garden, just a few feet in front of the windows, and it's gravelled but he dug a small border and planted some laurels and since then has been paranoid about cats since one dug his border on one occasion. All manner of anti-cat devices have been placed in that little bit of garden over the last couple of years and yet another fancy thing with flashing lights has appeared over the weekend. Today I came back from the gym and there was a van parked on their drive belonging to a flooring fitter, his dog was in the front window and when I glanced in at him I could see the kitchen table and chairs piled in there. I mentioned it to John at lunchtime and he said perhaps they were stacked up ready for moving, but that didn't explain the van on the drive. When I walked past with Billy this afternoon the kitchen furniture wasn't there so it would appear that they've had some kind of flooring put down in the kitchen...but why would you do that if your house is sold?

I did wonder if that was the case but it's a perfectly good tiled floor, and they're the first ones to live in the house and have been there less than 3 years, they both work full time so it can't have had much wear to warrant it needing replacing already.

Saying that though, the people who moved into the ex-show house over the road a few months ago have just had the kitchen ripped out of that. What a waste!

John's just emailed me (he's obviously busy this afternoon) and next door has now disappeared from Rightmove so it does indeed appear that for the second time in 18 months they've put their house up for sale, sold it and then pulled out of the sale.

That is so unfair on the people who wanted to buy it. I hate the system in England.

They really are strange people Jo!
Unless they for some reason are having incredibly bad luck with wherever they want to buy, I suppose :?
