Busy , busy weekend just gone.

It was my son's and gf's formal engagement celebration.

Friday evening was a slap-up meal for the immediate families at a nice Thai restaurant. Smart/casual with te emphsais more on the smart than the casual.

Saturday was all the getting ready that is required when a room and DJ are booked. All the bunting and balloons and photos...... then the do itself and meeting all their friends from down in Oxford and trying v.hard not to embarrass them too much.

Sunday was a recovery day with a trip round to S's mums to look at all the gifts and presents and have a bit of a buffet, followed by a slow wander round the local park.

All in all a good weekend.

We have a provisional of Aug 6th next year in one of the college chapels.

And I am going to have to do some work on my recovery time.... it ain't what it used to be.

You must be very happy, Frank, and looking forward to the wedding day.

I wish the happy couple lots of happiness, and lots of love.
