In my opinion you can't beat the good old golden oldies.

I have a massive collection of CDs of songs from the golden age of popular music -
from the 1920s through to the 1970s. It is surprising how many songs written in
that period are still well-known today (by mature folk, of course). I know hardly
any songs written after the 1970s - for the simple reason that I have not thought
they were worth listening to.

I have plans to arrange music evenings here at our retirement lodge, as I'm sure
the old dears here will enjoy listening to some of the golden oldies and having a
sing-along.

We went to see Bowie at Wembley in the late 80s. Would give my right arm to have been able to see him in a small venue.

Jo that would have been really something 8-)

Aggers I am inclined to agree, most of the music I like is '70s, '60s and even '50s ;)
