Oh my, at that price I am seriously tempted!!! I have vinyl flooring in my kitchen/diner, utility and both baths and a laminate type wood floor in the hall and downstairs loo. The rest of the house is carpeted.........

Would it be ok on the laminate do you reckon? :?: By extra pads do you mean the blue ones?

I use it in my kitching / dining area and the bathroom and they're both laminated and it's fine. Can't wait to get the lounge floor done as well

And yes - the blue pad. It takes a bit longer for the steam to work through it, but the nobbly things on it help lift any more stubborn dirt

This thread has got me thinking that I need one of these.

At least I will if we ever get Lino down in the kitchen and bathroom.

At the moment we only have one lot of hard flooring in the dining room.

Can you steam carpets with them?

I'm sure I've read that you can use them on laminates as long as the laminate is sealed?
