A lovely day was had by all

Postby lissie » 26 Jan 2014, 16:12

Thanks for all your good wishes for my birthday :D
We had a lovely time.
4 lots of flowers were delivered and 2 boxes containing fizzy wine and truffles
a la M&S
Son and DIL and boys gave me a Pandora bracelet with 2 charms and safety chain
and two granddaughters gave me 2 more charms.
Grandson and girlfriend bought roses and other 2 granddaughters and partners
sent a bouquet of sunflowers which is lovely.
OH gave me a Swatch watch and daughter and sil bought a rose bush called Elizabeth :D
Sister sent a Swarovski pendant and chain.
Son insisted I went for a ride in his new car and while I was away Klara (granddaughter)
picked up a M&S buffet and cake in Canterbury that she had ordered online.
They had put up bunting, notices on doors and windows and balloons everywhere.
It was such a surprise and was really lovely as M&S food is :D
We were going for a meal but OH didn't feel up to it after this latest stroke.
2 granddaughters were missing as it was one of their birthdays the day before mine and
they were going out with their friends on a pre arranged Snow Boarding treat :D

Flowers on picture board.

lissie
