Just seen a report that there has been an earthquake in Wellington which has caused the eagle in the airport to fall down. Hope you have not suffered any damage.

I saw the news during the day and thought of Weka even though she is a few hundred miles away.

NZ has had its fair share of these things over the past few years.

Thank you for thinking of me.

Yes, we did indeed get a 6.2, north of Wellington in a place called eketahuna.
I'm pretty sure I felt it, as I did feel the house move and thought how odd, and it was around that time.

Hmm, first Christchurch, then Wellington, now eketahuna.... It's moving north. I better get ready. :-)

Thankfully the school holidays are almost over. Kindy has gone back this week, preschool for Oliver starts in 2 weeks. They were both getting cabin fever. Made worse by the deck being ripped up, and the cat continuing his "physio" by being allowed to roam the house, meaning no windows open, and the house being painted, so can't go outside, oh, and the tail of a tropical cyclone going through earlier this week = hot humid air, gale force winds and rain.

So it's been a bit full on lately.
