what a fab day!

Postby pollR78 » 18 Jan 2014, 20:42

Well today we have had a totally amazing day :D :D

Amy and I met my friend and her son (who is 11) and got the bus into Edinburgh, then the train to Glasgow, had lunch then a walk to a different train station to get the underground train (first time ever on something like that) and we got to the new event building which has been built for the Commonwealth Games - the SSE Hydro. We were going to see Top Gear Live, and boy oh boy was it worth it, absolutely FANTASTIC show!

I have grown up watching Top Gear with my dad so have watched it with Amy, she loves it too!

I actually can't believe how good it was :D :D :D :D

Then we done the return journey and went for a Chinese takeaway and Amy has put a Top Gear dvd on to watch!

FAB!!!

I love Top Gear, a fantastic irreverent show when JM and Jezza are in full flow........ and it is so good that they give the vertically challenged one a chance to make a living.

Good to know that you and Amy had a great day out, Poll.

thanks folks :) and LOL WM, they are just so funny and had everyone laughing so much!!

its been totally awesome!

Amy is wearing her new 'top gear live t-shirt' and we bought a lanyard and bangle set so Im having the lanyard for work :)

The venue was fab, we were sitting quite far up, but the acoustics in that place are brilliant, and we could see everything no problem at all, wow!! Will remember it for a long time :D

It sounds brilliant Poll, we're quite spoilt as Beaulieu is very near so we've seen lots of cars, James Bond vehicles, etc.
They've had Top Gear Live this past year I think, but a bit too late, Bb's boys have been there quite a few times and aren't quite mad enough about cars :)
