I am sure it comes from one of the Vietnam films - Wolfman Jack sort of thing - but I cannot find it on youtube or anywhere.

Help please, it is doing my head in.

Thanks Rodo, but that is almost operatic compared to the gravelly, gritty "boom bang dang, bama boo dang bang" I am looking for.

I had a feeling that it was from one of the Vietnam war films Nanna, so I trawled YouTube for their soundtracks...... I found it on Full Metal Jacket.

I can remember the scene where the choppers are coming in in droves (the birds) and all around is explosions, napalm and devastation, but the birds keep coming.........

I didn't want it for the war thing, it was just the tune bugging me and I had to know.
