Rodo, anyone, the area we were in is only a stone's throw from the station and is very quiet. It is right next to the grounds of the Cathedral.

If you go on Google Maps - Birmingham, The Old Joint Stock - and zoom in you can have a wander around and see what you think.

and I see there is a direct train to Birmingham New Street from Preston - come on Rodo, would be lovely to meet you!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Oh I would love to meet you too!!! It was so close to the station, as was the hotel we stayed in - those of us who stayed over! 8-) 8-) :D

Now that is a down right lie WM.

It wasn't quiet at all. Maybe it was before we arrived and after we left but it definitely wasn't when we were there!!!

as much as I would love to meet you all, I have priced some trains to Birmingham and its going to be over £100 just for me, Amy would be coming too, so would be even more expensive :( would be cheaper to fly but at the end of the day its going to work out too much money :(
