summer hols...

Postby pollR78 » 14 Jan 2014, 19:23

I think I have found what we are going to do for ours holidays, been trying to find something fun that wont break the bank........found a coach tour to Disneyland Paris, 4 days/3 nights, with 2 full days in the park, going to wait until end of the month and check other options but probably book this..............Amy thinks it will be fab, a coach, then ferry, then Disneyland, plus I did tell her we would go back there when I qualified, as we went when I was in 1st year!

:D :D :D

going to go the first wee of school holidays, around 8th July I think it is :)

yeah it will be fab Jo, my mum suggested looking at coach tours and was pleasantly surprised at the prices! :D :D

Last time we went, I was doing lots of bank shifts so had the money and we flew over, stayed in Disney hotel etc, but finances are a bit tighter at the moment, so this will do the trick nicely :) I have all the school holidays off so we can do lots of other cheap things the rest of the time - bike rides, picnics etc :D

I looked at flying with my two and it worked out really expensive, not sure I could sit for that long on a coach with them - we'd be thrown off by the time we'd got to the M6 sliproad

lol! Yeah it cost about £800 for us 2 years ago, priced it for the same hotel etc this year and it was over £1000, just crazy! Maybe in a year or two we will do that again but for this year a coach tour will do ;)

Amy isn't too bad at sitting for long periods of time, think they say it takes about 7hours to drive from Edinburgh down to Dover so a fair journey but as long as we have her tablet, food, drinks etc we will be fine - a big adventure :)

Tom's been talking about going with his friends when they finish A Levels next year, they're deciding between Paris and Majorca now, and they were thinking of going by Eurostar if they decide on Paris.

Awww and it's a pretty big tunnel isn't it lol?!

Yeah, it's pretty cheap to get to London from here and I think he said that the Eurostar was coming in at around £69 return.
