Tis a bit gorgeous here. 8-) 8-) 8-)

I'm off for a quick killer hill walk as Herman the German and his brand new mountain bike are calling for me at 11am for a scoot up Pinos Alhaurin woodland. :D :D :D

Roast chicken and all the trimmings for dinner and I've made a cheesecake too. :D

Bit of TV watching tonight as I like DOI.

Morning everyone - we had a thick frost here too, now the sun is shining which is good :) :)

Ally enjoy your cycle ride with Mad Herman ;) :D

Saundra that braising steak sounds good, I'm cooking a small gammon roast by popuar request, but as I don't eat it, I'll be having a couple of lamb chops instead 8-) :D

Bit of a disturbed night here, Becky came in very late/early from her friend's birthday celebrations (wasn't you was it Rodo? :P ) she was pretty quiet letting herself in, but it started Fraggle and Peps off, then it took them ages to settle back down!

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning morning. I'm still in bed - I really should get up.

Absolutely no plans for the day. :D I might have a play with my sewing machine.

I think S has the boyfriend coming round. She spent the day at his yesterday. No idea what L is doing - annoying S no doubt.

Morning everyone

Grey and a little moist this morning  Not enough rain to water the plants, but enough that the patio is damp

Another day of pampering for the injured ;) although he can walk around quite well, if I'm not looking

Roast chicken for us too. I was going to do it with lemons and peppers, but the wlaked wounded requested a "proper" roast, so I'll have to think of another way to use some of those lemons

Enjoy your day everyone xx

Heavy frost here this morning, but having had our heating put right a couple of days ago (we had been without heating for over a week) it is nice and warm here now thank goodness.

I have rather a "head" this morning. The evils of drink again.

Have a very nice day everybody.

Morning chums :D
Grey and rainy here today, such a shame after yesterdays wall to wall sunshine
Lazy start for us, but I'll do a roast for lunch for us two and youngest and girlfriend, then off to eldest and girlfriend for 'afternoon tea'...tres snob!
Have a good one chums xxx

Morning :)
I was sat here all ready to post then the phone rang, so 45 minutes later here I am :D
It's horrid here too, very dark, very cold and windy, and likely to rain any minute. At least yesterday was lovely :?

The curry was a huge success, really yummy :) Eldest has just stumbled out of bed and into the shower, on the promise of a sausage buttie before we take him home :D
It emerged he asked if he could come here as he'd been dumped by his g/f the night before, poor thing, it's horrible at that age isn't it :( He seems ok, and he's back to uni soon so should have plenty to take his mind off it.

Gosh Rodo glad your heating's back on, it will no doubt take a while to get the house properly warm again.
We're stopping off at friend's house to check how cold that feels; the heating comes on twice a day but only low, and she's planning on coming down next weekend so it may need turning up a notch or two.

Lemon curd Ton?? It's years since I made it but it's quite easy.
Not sure what else we're doing, we'll pop into Morrisons since we'll be in that direction, in case they have some meat bargains.
Hope everyone has a good day, whatever the weather.
