Hole in One

Debih, Is the large hole at Foolow, part of the old Milldam lead mine anywhere near you?
You have had some misfortunes recently and I don't wan t to have to come and dig you out of this hole!!

It isn't that far away Cruiser, about 15 miles, but last year two others appeared much much closer.

At the beginning of the year one appeared just a couple of miles from us - right in the middle of the road. Meaning that the usual 5 minute drive to Wirksworth took 30 minutes.

Then in the middle of the year one appeared near the council offices in Matlock - again on a busy road.

Luckily no one was hurt at either of them.

It's what comes from living on top of mines I suppose!!!
