Aw, hugs Gal xx

It was a lovely lovely walk around the village - about an hour, although Grumpy started moaning about his hips, then his legs  and having to duck under some olive trees  (bent double I was, all you had to do was duck, as you're a short arxe 8-) )

So took him for some painkillers (beer) then made a really lovely pork stew (just tried it - really scrummy :D )

Chicken will be going in the oven in about half an hour and as I've had a couple of beers too   :o we need to get some more tomorrow

Diet starts on Thursday - well, maybe Friday

Did someone mention diets? I am a whale at the moment - strict cutting back of carbs in the New Year methinks!!!

Good luck with that Ton!

I walked down to town with Tom earlier as I needed some cream to make an Orkney tablet cheesecake. I got next year's Christmas cards - boxes and most of the individual ones that I need - and the gift wrap and tags too

Well at least this Christmas I've been able to get to the gym, the last few years it's either been closed due more days or I've had a cold.
I can do an early one tomorrow - Tom's delivering papers every morning this coming week so I'll get up to make sure that he does

Thanks Kaz.....I know he is a good bit older than me but I always think of him as my age as he is my BIL, IYKWIM.....so to know he is *this* poorly is a bit scary....also they live in a huge 1930s semi, with a massive garden, which until last summer he could quite easily manage... :o

I'm sure once he gets this nasty cough/cold sorted he will be a bit better xxx
