Morning everyone

A gorgeously sunny morning here too :P :P

I'm nearer Di 8-)

I've been a busy little person this morning - swept through downstairs, swept the front patio, planted two twigs across the road, been down the bins and put out two loads of washing. As that entails a three flight walk up, I'm rewarding myself with a cup of coffee, before we have breakfast. 8-)

Then I'm dragging him out for a long walk, it's such a lovely day :D :D

Making pork stew for tomorrow and roast chicken for tonight :D

Cleaning??? wassat

Saundra, can you get me a calender please?? We couldn't find one yeaterday :o

Enjoy your day everyone xx

The lovely young man in one of the newsagents said he only has one for the shop, but if he gets another one, he'll keep it for me :D :D :D

We normally get one from the Junta, along with a Christmas message, but I think it's due to lack of money, that we didn't get one.

Didn't have any decorations up either :o :o nor did Tavira, apart from one metal tree thing. And Tavira used to be fantastic for their decorations :D

Oh that's a shame about the decorations.

Only last night when I was in town did I take some photos of our decorations..but then they always go mad on them.

Morning all :)

Bright and sunny here, but there was a heavy frost earlier. Can still see it in the field at the back of our house.

We had a lovely last day with the children yesterday. Frozen was brilliant, a definite must see family film :D :D :D

Washing's on the go and we'll be taking the decs down later this afternoon. Usually leave them up til 12th night, but need to be organised this year, it's going to be a very busy week.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning all :) Lovely and sunny here with a hard frost. Good for dog walking :)
Mum and FiL enjoyed the panto last night. Not my sort of thing, but D and I shall choose something nice to go and see in the new year. Salisbury Playhouse is a smashing little theatre and so close to home :)
Wishing everyone a super day and I promise to catch up properly once the aged P's have returned home in the new year ;)

Morning all, although it will be afternoon by the time I post this  It's a gorgeous morning here, blue skies, cold but no frost. Since brekkie we've been working on the layout for our new kitchen, measuring and deciding where everything will go as it will be a very much smaller space than we have now. It's been going well with no squabbles ;) and we may visit a particular kitchen showroom this coming week - I think the designer wants us to have a fairly good idea of cost and design when we have our next meeting. We really fancied one Mr. Osc found on the internet and were thinking about going to their showroom in Newry, but then I saw the lowest price range of their kitchens and we though.....maybe not

I'm going for a walk shortly so as not to waste the lovely day, then we will have something to eat before going dancing later this afternoon. Enjoy your day everyone :)

By 'eck it's cold out there!!!! We had a lovely walk though, all round the Docks basin in the sunshine, then a turkey, brie and cranberry toasted baguette in our fave café, then back to the car walking through the outlet centre. I saw a lovely jumper to spend some of my Christmas money from my MIL, so bought that. Mick looked in Hobbycraft but they didn't have the art pencils he wanted........Then Sainsbury's for some milk and bread, and home again ;)

We neither of us fancy a roast today - I think we'll pick at the cheeses, pates and stuff we still have left ;)

We had the most lovely walk, 1 1/2 hours along the front at Milford; Minnie went in the sea for a splosh and to lose some sticks :)
We weren't hungry enough for sausage baguettes and anyway the cafe was very full, so instead went to Lidl for some of their fresh mini-baguettes and came home for a turkey special. Turkey, stuffing, cranberry one side & mayo the other :D
I've been into town for a wander but didn't find anything I fancied in the sales.
And we've just had only our second piece of Christmas cake :)

What fun Osc, I love designing kitchens :D

Afternoon all 8-)

We had Lewis overnight - what a little treasure he is! T was out for much of the evening as he has a dog to train to race, he brought our Chinese in when he got back around 9...Lewis was ready for bed by then but we let him stay up for a while, in fact T was so tired he went to bed at the same time. L slept in with us as we haven't got a spare bed yet....but he was as good as gold, even when T got up at 5 this morning, he slept on until nearly half eight :) He kept me entertained much of the morning and then mum came for him at 10.30 and then T and I got ready to go to the shops for a mooch - I wanted to return some too-small slipper boots we had got for Jen and also a couple of jumpers I'd bought that weren't right. We had a spot of lunch whilst out too, got back about 3pm.

We were supposed to all be going to my sister's this evening as not seen my family over the Christmas period at all - but my BIL is not a well person just now, tbh I am quite concerned about him. He has what is clinically called "heart failure" (essentially, his heart isn't working the way it should, hence 'failing') AND he has a hacking cough which has really knocked him for six, sis called the GP out the other day who gave him steroids and ABs, but they don't seem to be working....he is 73....so we have postponed tonight for when N is feeling a bit better.

Done no h/w in days....I will have the house to myself tomorrow as T is at work and J is meeting friends in Newcastle for lunch and then straight to work for her evening shift. We are having our girl dog spayed tomorrow as well, also Smudge has his booster jab booked, so a busy animal day as well :)
