Good morning Friday

Postby jenniren » 27 Dec 2013, 08:20

Morning all :)

We had a great day yesterday, the panto was very good, the boys loved it. It's a wonder any of us has a voice left after all the shouting and noise

Just about to have a yummy cooked breakfast and then it's round two. Think a 'quiet' play day is planned :x

Hope you all have a lovely day :)

Morning Ally, Jen and everyone

Overcast here, but at least it's not raining 8-) No wind either :D so washing will be put out later 8-)

Not sure what we'll be doing today - a walk sounds good, I'll see if I can drag himself out later.

Will be finishing off the beef rib with leftover veg later - and I'm not letting a drop of alcohol past my lips until New Years Eve

Hope you all have a good day whatever you're doing xx

Morning all - another very wet and windy night but not as bad as the beginning of the week. The day promises to be dull and windy as well. It was an early start for me today as I had to get three cats to the vet for their boosters - I always take the first appointment at 8.30 if I can. Off to do a bit of shopping later today - I've got a steam mop on hold at Argos (I really do know how to live don't I ?  ) need to get some cat food and just generally have a mooch around the shops.

Have a lovely day everyone

Morning both!! :) I merged the two threads, as you'd posted simultaneously  ;)

Ally enjoy - we have had three days of gorgeous sunshine but today is wet and very windy again - just as Mick and I fancy a walk out :?

Jen enjoy your quiet day :D

Just us today - we've had a lovely Christmas but some quiet 'us' time is much needed  Still not feeling the best, but we are out today come what may for some fresh air. I haven't left the house since Monday so have cabin fever I think LOL  If it was sunny I think we'd walk into town, but as it's so vile we'll probably drive............Not ideal, but at least it will get us out LOL

Have a lovely day everyone :) xxxx

ETA Morning Ton :)

Morning Ria, a new steam mop eh? You devil  8-)

morning all

Lazy morning here, I seem to have a bit of a head cold, which has been progressing over the last few days, always worse at night/early morning, and this morning I do feel quite rough.

Amy is playing with her lego, and had chocolate for breakfast - well its the holidays ;) I have had porridge and drinking my tea.

Think we are meeting a friend later on and possibly a wander round some shops.

I ordered a Trespass jacket from Matalan the other day, half price in the sale, £15!! So hoping it is in the shop today as I chose the deliver to store option.

Hope everyone has a good day

Morning all :)
It's very dark and dull here, there was yet more rain in the night but thankfully today's forecast seems to have been toned down a little. The strong winds are making it a bit tricky to predict but they're now saying the worst of it should stay off the coast.
Bb's mum and dad are coming today, it's not far but with all the floods around could easily have been impossible as there's no alternative route so we're just hoping the new forecast is correct  :o

So that's part of our plans for the day really I've food to gt ready, a Black Forest trifle to make, and that blasted prawn ring is finally out of the freezer :P They're here for lunch and then games or a film, then this evening we and the boys are going out to eat at Prezzo :x
Have a good day all, and meriad try to contain your excitement :x

Hope you feel better later Poll, and that your jacket is in the shop - what a bargain! I like Trespass, we have a shop here in the outlet centre, and I bought us all fold up waterproof kagoules for our holidays in there, they've been very useful 8-) ;)

Morning Di! I hope the inlaws arrive safe and sound, and that you have a brilliant day. We have a Prezzo here, but we've never been! :?
