Good morning Boxing Day

Postby jenniren » 26 Dec 2013, 06:58

Morning all :)

Hope you all had a fantastic day yesterday. No hangovers here, stayed off the booze from lunch time ready for the drive today.

Rushing around getting sorted for our trip, need to be in Kent in plenty of time for the boys to open their pressies and have lunch before we go to the panto at 2.30. It's Robin Hood this year and youngest daughter tells me it's getting rave reviews. All I know is there's going to be lots of 'look behind you' and 'oh no he didn't, oh yes he did' going on

We won't be back home until late Saturday evening.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Good morning. :)

Lovely morning here. 8-) 8-)

I'm going for a run very shortly..I've got half a tin of roses to shift.

One of the boys presents to Don and I is taking us out for a few beers and a meal tonight.
Looking forward to the 4 of us having the craic!

Jen..we tried to get tickets for the panto in Nottingham last Sunday (it was sold out) but we had the pleasure of seeing its star this year, David Hasselhoff, in town on the Monday.
He is soooo tall and was being very nice to autograph hunters when they were stopping him for photos etc. :)

Footy on today..relaxing before the mini hooley tonight.

Enjoy the day everyone and safe journeys for those on the move. :)

morning all,

Lovely day yesterday, and not even half a glass of wine consumed :)

We had a break between our meal and pudding, and then when I did finally eat it, I felt really quite sick and very bloated, this went on from 5pm until 10pm when i went to bed, took a tablet for my stomach and some rennie's, must be careful and eat small amounts today. Pretty sure this only started happening since I had my gall bladder removed :(

So Amy is playing with her toys, she loves her barbie cruise ship I got her, and then at lunch time we are going to mum & dads and then travelling up to my auntie's with them, about 35-40mins away, my cousin and her family are over from Italy and not seen her since I was quite young :) my sister and family are going too. I get to drive dad's care home as he will have a drink ;)

Hope you all have a good day

Morning all, and Happy Boxing Day :) :x :P

It's the only nice day of the week here and it is lovely, bright and cold, although now ice is causing problems :D
Unfortunately I've too much to do to go with Bb and Minnie for a walk - well, ok, didn't get up early enough to be organised in time ;) 8-)
I didn't stay off the booze either, but didn't have too much, except that last glass of red  :x

Sounds as though everyone had a lovely day yesterday - and Saundra, you will have a wonderful day today I'm sure :D
Jen have fun, I could quite fancy the panto :)
Everyone seems to have a good day ahead, us included as Bb's picking up the boys at 12 :P :P :P

The turkey breast's cooking, ditto the gammon :D We shall only have baguettes for lunch so I can potter about later making stuff for dinner - a sort of buffet, with lamb & chicken kebabs, those sausage roll wheels, salads, etc. Ooh and some tear and share bread that I'll make, as one of my pressies is a set of different flavoured olive oils for dipping :x
Looking forward to seeing what DVDs the boys have got too :x :)
Have a good day all

Good morning all. Scooby Doo weather here.

I'm still in bed - really must get up. Mick and L heading out to watch the raft race -S and I can't be bothered. I think I might have a soak in the bath with my book.

Off to friends this afternoon.
