I cannot Believe It

Postby KateLMead » 25 Dec 2013, 13:01

My Christmas present from a friend and he included my daughter in the gift are four CDs of parties and sing songs when I was 60 that I never knew existed. And the most tear jerking of all is to hear my beloved's beautiful voice talking and laughing throughout. Oh how I miss him, every one is singing "the mountains of morn" with me on piano "Slightly tipsy" more than slightly by the sound of things.
every one having a ball. A dear friend recorded all these CD's un be known to me when I was 60..Every one is singing Bless this House. Ah Lovely. tears flowing. The odd thing is I have dreamed of him this past week never before since he died.

Actually it was almost unreal, the repartee between him and myself, the hysterical laughter from those at the party, some voices I cannot even recognise, (I put that down to old age) Oh they were such wonderful parties, not one but four he had attended with his wife had recorded in my 60th year! And he had kept them all safe until yesterday. Unbelievable! it was as though my darling was in the room with us, his laughter and beautiful voice.. The best Christmas gift I have ever had..
