Happy Christmas Everyone

Postby KateLMead » 25 Dec 2013, 07:47

Turkey is in the oven, veg all prepared including those super honey parsnips, yum yum. Xmas puddings mince pies and awaiting great son in law and family who has a wonderful appetite . I have received around five bottles of champagne.six to be exact.. Like many I feel guilty knowing there are so many tragic homeless here and abroad, sleeping rough in this Terrible Shocking Weather. But what can one do?

Have a great day everyone.xxxxxx

Merry Christmas to you too Kate xx

Well, I did remember to take the beef out of the freezer last night - although I woke up this morning panicking that I hadn't  :x Not sure why I was so bothered though, it would have been fine left till today, we won't be eating till evening :x

Prosecco is chilled, ditto OJ...Bb still in bed  The neighbours over the road, who were also next door last night, J is always, always up early, and he always, always, takes the dog out around 8am...their curtains are still drawn and I haven't seen him yet

Merry Christmas everybody. Lovely blue sky.
Didn't wake up till after eight o'clock. Had a good time last night dancing till after eleven o'clock.
Going to daughters for dinner so only a snack for lunch. No drink today as I am driving. Will have a tipple when I get home this evening.
Hope no one is affected by the floods and winds.
Am wearing one of my presents-- anew pair of slippers.
