Afternoon
Vic that does sound fun
Well, the weather is beyond awful, rain and gale-force winds and it's been steadily getting even worse
Definitely best for Becky not to have gone Kaz.
I had to have a blood test done so we went out fairly early, did that (and got a free chocolate), and stopped at the Co-op at the garage on the same road. I figured we might as well get whatever we could there, and it was a good idea as it was pretty quiet.
The town was different. We got to the little Tesco ok, it wasn't too bad in there (and they were giving out chocolates to the queue), but we wanted to go to Waitrose which is on the way home. The original plan was to walk there later, but the weather has put paid to that. The whole world seemed to be aiming for Waitrose
We parked in a road round the back, went in, found what we wanted (tesco didn't have any dolcelatte or castello bleu, only stilton which I don't like) - and then realised all the people in that aisle were actually in the checkout queue
I told Bb I'd need more than a bloody free chocolate
so we left
We can live without blue cheese and bearnaise sauce
We'd also said we will manage with whatever the local shop has.
Loz you will have a full house, it is quite a long time isn't it, good luck
Stay safe in this weather everyone, and good luck for your flight Ally.
Is Osc already home?
