Morning all :)

Wet and windy here in Wilts :( Wasn't intending to leave the house today, but decided to be extra helpful and drive E round for the papers..........the things I do for love :x

Need to give the house a quick blitz later ready for our pre Christmas get together with eldest daughter and her brood tomorrow. Also got the washing on so it's all action stations here.

Hope you all have a good day :)

I am still in bed.

I am ill. The family know that I am ill. I have been ill since Wednesday and battled on. Today they are looking after me - bringing me drinks and soup.

I will share my secret with you though. Yes I'm ill. But it's no longer my cold. That seems to have gone. I am ill because I drank far too much red wine and chocolate vodka last night. But don't tell the family - they haven't clicked on!!

Good afternoon everybody.
Debih, how do you manage to post without anybody seeing what you are doing? Do you hide everything under the bed clothes?
Sun is shining. Have managed to wash the car. Probably the last time this year. Had a short heavy shower of rain this morning. Only shopping for cheese and bread on Monday. No more until Friday as our son and family are coming for lunch and dinner.
Have had to look at the instructions for our big oven. Don't use it very often as there are only two of us normally.
Hugs and vibes to those not feeling well--Hangovers excluded!!

Yaaaaay good for you Debih :x  :P :P :P

We braved the elements and got to the market. We wanted to buy Minnie a nice new bed and the man there has a good selection. He was so pleased we'd bothered - we had to squeeze into his van to choose! - that he gave us a discount :)
It's one of these, a nice charcoal grey to match her mostly black-with-some-white-hairs :D
here

She got so excited, sniffed it all over, waggy waggy waggy, and has since been lying in front of it  :x

Went to M&S too, which wasn't too bad, they've got lots of money off things. I bought a pretty little Christmas ornament, a tree with a dog and presents, and a new bag of pot pourri, and a new set of lights for round the window, all half price :P

It won't hurt you to have a restful spell in bed, Debih. You get through an awful lot of work.

Hopefully you will feel much better now that you have got over your cold, and when the
effects of the alcohol have worn off.

Debih, you deserve a bit of pampering, you are always running around for other people ;) Enjoy!!!!

Well Mick and I risked battling crowds at the Docks to get to our favourite coffee shop, but it was actually remarkably quiet - we even got the best comfy seats in there! :) Then we nipped to Curry's for some carpet shampoo and then round to D's to drop some pressies....

Putting my feet up now 8-)

Minnie has adopted her new bed and is currently completely sparko on it :)

We were very brave and also went out to Lidl - the thought of not having to go tomorrow spurred us on :D
Then it dawned on me that the socks Bb bought in M&S had 30% taken off, and discovered all clothing was 30% off today, so I went back down there :x
I bought This
I'll be quite pleased when it gets colder again :x :P

Couldn't make our sausage rolls today, not enough room in the freezer! Had to fit in a tub of ice cream - but tomorrow we're having a meal I'd stashed away, and on Monday too ;) :x
