Well, she's home now Jo, came out yesterday. I got a telephone call ...
"Hi, you can come and pick me up now"
"Oh great, I'm on my way"
"You WILL remember not to come by bus, won't you?"
She's upstairs in bed with the foot up, needless to say, and I've moved furniture around to suit. We were given about two tons of equipment by the orthopaedic department but the two commodes are too big to fit in our manky little ensuite toilets, and the washing stool has also been consigned to the garage as you can't get both the stool and Mrs O in front of the basin in her room ...... anyway, we're making do and coping. I've been into M&S to do the last of the Xmas food shopping today.
As for Cromwell's comments
, he'll no doubt be amused by a telephone call I got from an old work colleague from Dorset days this evening, the opening remark being ..
"How's Mrs O? Has she succumbed to your crap cooking yet?"
