Good morning Wednesday

Morning all. I've been awake ages - Mick was up and out by 5am and woke me up whilst he was getting dressed (not I purpose I hasten to add). He's off to Southampton and has to be there for 10am. The job should only take a couple of hours and then he's driving home again, although he's taken an overnight bag just in case.

I've got a stonking sore throat and the sniffles - boo hoo. L has also been complaining of a sore throat. Double boo hoo.

Off shopping this morning with my mum. Only to B&M Bargains (last stocking fillers), Pets at Home (doggy food) and Lidl (food). I'll call at Sainsburys tomorrow for anything I can't get from Lidl.

I have to call on Micks aunt to drop her Christmas present off. Horrible woman. I won't be staying long as I shall lay the cold on thick and also will have Millie in the car (she's off to keep my dad company whilst we shop and I will pick her up before going to horrible aunts).

L is off to the panto with Guides tonight and won't be home until around 11pm. Fortunately she has a lift there and back so I only have to wait up for her, rather than run her around.

Good morning Debih and everyone.

Lovely sunrise giving way to a nice day.

We're off into Malaga for the day.

As we can't bring Christmas crackers home on the plane and the Spanish don't 'do' crackers, it's a good excuse for a day out and to pop into Dunnes in Larios Centro to buy some.

We'll have a mooch round at all the lights and festivities, have some eats and drinks then later we're meeting up with a couple of friends who live in Cordoba but are coming into Malaga for the night.
Cue some revelry.

That's my day then!

finally defrosted the freezer yesterday horrible job
so im filling it with every available item for xmas

Need to find our car mechanic sometime this week, as the car was still just cutting out yesterday and the mot needs doing this month too.

Apart from that, I'll be making a mega stew and a chicken hotpot thingy for tonight. The stew is for tomorrow, we're not that greedy

We're popping over to see mother this morning. Will see how the weather is before deciding if we can take her out for coffee and cake. Afterwards it's a quick visit to see my aunt and uncle and drop off their pressies. We won't hang around too long, it's too much for them at the moment.

It's dull and wet here - yuk!! - but we need some food shopping, so I'll be out for that later! Becky can come too and help me carry it

I finally got all the wrapping done last night!!!! Becky did some too, which made it less of a chore

Morning chumeroonies

Everyone sounds busy getting ready for Christmas Good luck with all your preparations, shopping trips and visits to family etc. I shall be mainly doing nothing today

Last night was so much fun We really do have a lovely group of tango friends now and we had a lovely time. Our 'dance floor' was a hit and we managed to get 3 couples at a time dancing, which is what I thought. In Buenos Aires it would have been quite roomy! I made the house all nice and festive and prepared plenty of nibbles etc so everyone was happy. We will definitely do it again

Good morning everybody.
Tried to say this at 7.00 a.m but someone had unplugged the server.
Have got most of the food we will need till next year apart from veg and bread. Freezer is nearly full.
Debih, Hope you soon get better. keep warm and and sober although I will allow you a hot toddy or two!!
More bad weather forecast so will be staying indoors if possible.
