What a day
Woke up to one of the alarms beeping, but didn't have time to play with it.
Off to hospital - early, to miss the traffic. Then had to wait nearly an hour and a half to see the lovely Dr Paulo. I had to stand the whole time He's all for me going ahead with the op, but I need to see Dr Gomes Ferrerra, who did the first op. But, he's maybe retiring at the end of the year But here's a letter to take over to the other clinic, to make an appointment.
Meanwhile - the Glad bag saga. The government aren't paying their bills so lots of people are without stuff, not just us.
But, I saw a nurse, who is involved in the ileostomy side of things - a new project, and she will give me the address of the new association - who will help me with bags
Saw her, got that sorted, then over to the other clinic.
And the young lad there wouldn't make an appointment with the surgeon until later in December once it was sorted, was he staying or not
Got home and tried to sort out the alarm - Grumpy and I got divorced at least 3 times - the booklet was thrown across the lounge and the outside alarm went off
I went off down to the village, to try and get some batteries for it - no joy, so had to go to Olhao
And the problem? One of the detectors
For which we do not have any batteries - but we managed to turn off that annoying beep beep beep
But the bestest thing - a smelly parcel arrived from Spain
