Putting the Christmas tree up this afternoon.

A party to go to early doors then dropping into Pacos's after that to watch the Malaga game at 10 tonight.

Still dark here so not sure what kind of day it will turn out to be

I was hoping for a slightly longer lie in bed this morning, maybe 8am, but woke just before 6 as usual never mind, am up, have had breakfast and now just enjoying doing nothing!

Amy has her swimming lesson at 11, last one before Christmas, then we are going to have lunch and head over to visit my auntie and uncle who moved to Fife last month, takes just over half an hour to get to them so not bad, mum and dad stayed over there last night too so will see them lol!

Tomorrow is our trip to Dobbies to see Santa

I went to mum and dad's local Dobbies when I was over in the summer Poll.

We had a lovely lunch there and the best cup of tea and cream cake.

Well it's lovely to have Becks back Doubt we'll see her before lunchtime though Two wash loads got done last night - she did them LOL - and still more to go!

Popping out later for some food shop and maybe a bite for lunch, then this evening Mick's brother and his wife are up from Weymouth so we're going out for a meal Must wrap up their Christmas pressies as this is the last time we'll see them before the New Year

Morning all
A much nicer day here today, brighter and breezy - yesterday really didn't get light at all!

I have finally done something Christmassy Do you remember those Mary Berry Christmas spiced cupcake kits from a couple of years ago? I got a couple when they were all reduced, and kept the card, which has the whole recipe on it
Yesterday afternoon I tried it, with half the amounts - they were enormous at full size - so the house smelt lovely and spicy, and we got to eat cake
I did the brandy butter icing too

Today the intention was to get going fairly early but I was awake a lot in the night and then dozed till nearly 9 so am still feeling groggy. Hey ho.

Morning all. Nice, fresh morning here - I've been out for a long walk with Millie this morning. I'm feeling really low - no idea why. I'm really tired and my head feels full of cotton wool.

Mick and the girls have gone to buy the tree so this mornings job will be decorating that. I am supposed to be fetching the decorations down.

This afternoon I need to make another batch of limoncello for my sister for Christmas and I want to make a start on wrapping presents.
