Good morning Friday

Postby debih » 13 Dec 2013, 07:40

Friday 13th - beware, beware.

Morning all. Its really dark here this morning.

No plans for me today other than a nice walk around the village with Millie delivering cards.

I'm off to the primary school xmas performance tonight as I have to give me thanks to the staff and head speech at the end. It'll be weird not having a child in it.

I am curious of the reaction of the stupid woman who doesn't speak to me any more because of the implementation of the uniform (that she is still convinced is all down to me). I am selling tickets on the door (they charge £1) so she will have to see me. I was really pee-d off at her yesterday - she was outside at her car when I pulled up to collect her daughter to take to school and she didn't even acknowledge me. Stupid cow. I shall be glad when her daughter moves up to the other site in September. I don't want to give the girl a lift to school but I can't take L and my friends two girls and not take her (the four of them all walk together) - that would just be spiteful and lowering myself to her level.

Pathetic isn't it. I would love not to take Issy. She drives me mad as she is never ready on time. She is supposed to be at my friends house for 8.15 and is never there so I end up having to drive to her house (which is no hardship as it is just around the corner from them and we pass it to get out of the lane anyway) and send one of the others in to fetch her. If she didn't live just around the corner and I had to drive past then I wouldn't wait for her - it would be a case of if you aren't there I will assume that you don't want a lift. Its a shame she lives so close to them.

There is no reason for her to be late as I don't give them a lift every day and there is no routine as to when I do. I always ring my friend the night before to say I will take them but they don't ring Issy until 7.55 - which is the time they would usually call for her. So she should be ready to walk to school when she gets the call to say they are having a lift. Julie has said that she will stop ringing her so you would assume that once it gets to 8am she would walk round the corner to their house to see where they all are and once she is there she can stay there and wait for me.

Yesterday stupid cow was outside getting something from her car. I pulled up across the drive waiting for the girl to come out - she just completely blanked me. No wave, smile, nothing.

But I just don't have it in me to not take her - there are only 6 kids from the village that go to the lower site of the school. Two of them get a lift every day from their dad and the four girls walk - L sets off first and calls for L and L and they then walk around the corner to call for I and set off walking. So if I was mean I could say, sod it - your mum is a stupid cow who doesn't deem me good enough to speak to but is happy for me to chauffeur her daughter around and her daughter is never, ever ready so I won't give her a lift. But that's not fair on I - she's never ready because her mum is a stupid cow who leaves her to get herself up and dressed and is never usually out of bed when her kids leave for school!

Next year will be interesting. The two older girls (I and L) will be getting the bus as they move to the other site. Issy was saying yesterday that she can have a lift as long as she gets herself to this persons house by 8.15. I know that she'll never get there on time and this person won't wait for her - and the bus goes at 8.05 so if she misses her lift, she'll have already missed the bus!

You'd think that once she realises no one will pander to her lateness which means she'll miss her bus, she'd get her butt into gear and be on time!

I wouldn't wait for her!

Grrrr

Morning all - a usual work day for me. Not sure what is going on this morning, but the train was rather empty compared to usual - and also less people on the walk from Waterloo to work; almost like it's already 'proper' Christmas if you know what I mean.

Debih - agree with Kaz; I cannot believe that that woman ignores you even though you give her daughter a lift; that is just incredibly rude of her. I'm stunned. But then some people just to not seem the grasp the concept of manners...

Ally - enjoy your day of doing nothing; wish I could be doing the same

Kaz, enjoy having Becks home - is she now to stay thought past Christmas or heading off again before?

Loz, enjoy the dancing tonight

Have a fantastic day everyone :P :P :P

I know - its the fact that once I have picked L and L up I have to drive past her house to get out of the lane. If she lived further away and I didn't have to drive past the house then I would say I will pick up at L&L's house at 8.15 if anyone is missing, tough I'm going.

I'm just too nice!

Debih I totally understand you not wanting to take it out on the child (although she needs to learn to be punctual!) but that woman!!!!!

Ria Becks will be here until Boxing Day, when she and Harry (he comes next weekend to stay for Christmas) are going to their dad's to see him and their rellies on that side of the family - grandparents, aunts and uncles etc :)
