Good Morning Wednesday!

Postby Diflower » 11 Dec 2013, 08:23

Morning all :)

Now it's more or less light it's a lovely start, a touch of frost on the cars, and fog but that's clearing.
Bb's off in a minute to go and collect a courtesy car for the day, hopefully ours will be ready later.

Feeling cross as I know I thought of a good Christmas present in the night and now can't remember what it was :?
Hope it pops back into my brain at some point, preferably during sensible hours ;) :D
Bits and pieces of h-word today.
Hope E's doing ok x
Have a good day
Di

Morning all. Its pretty cold here this morning.

Work for me until 12pm and then home to meet the gas fitter. I am hoping to have heat and hot water tonight!!!

This afternoon I want to get all Micks cash receipts onto a spreadsheet so I can get the VAT return finished off next week. This evening I am baking with S - she has a history project to finish and she opted for war time food. She is making a large jam tart with custard on top (I cheated and bought the tart case and custard - its history not food tech!) and then making mock cream. She has done research from some of my old cookery books - I always knew there was a good reason to keep so many old cookery books.

This evening I am hoping to have a long hot bath and then finish the rest of my Christmas cards off.

Morning all :)

Thanks for all the good wishes yesterday. We got to Oxford nice and early, actually we were in time to have a nice cooked brekkie so an even better result. Glad we didn't leave it any later though as the traffic was getting heavier all the way there. Bit more waiting around than we expected, E finally had it done around 12ish. His surgeon is very hopeful it's nothing more than a fatty cyst. Obviously he added we must wait for the results, but E's feeling very positive and that's the main thing. Should know for sure when he goes for his post op on 30th.

Had planned to go into town this morning for some last minute bits and pieces, but we've decided to leave it til tomorrow and enjoy a nice lazy day instead. The fact we overslept has absolutely nothing to do with that decision at all

Hope you all have a good day :)
