Any organisation that needs to brainwash its students with NLP in my opinion is questionable Aggers
Equally the secrecy that surrounds this supposed charity supported by governments

Couldn't agree more Frank. Have you seen the list of those converted members in this questionable secretive organisation.
Not only Labourites but also Conservatives,police, counsellors, teachers. Heads of departments including the NHS. Look up Brian Gerrish what he writes is an eye opener.

Common Purpose (CP) is nominally a charity, but its courses cost upwards of £7,000. You cannot stump up the money and get on a course, you have to be nominated. Information about the actual workings of CP is hard to get hold of, FOI requests appear to be the only way. These are rarely responded to because they are easy to get round.

CP "graduates" hold senior positions in Government, the Lords, police, local government, in fact every facet of government. They are also prominent in the media. CP is a sort of low-level Bilderberg, but some of its graduates have graduated to the top table- Major, Balls and Milliband.

It is as dangerous as Oswald Moseley's Blackshirts were in WWII, but much better organised and more secretive.

I'd never heard of NLP so looked it up.......

Reviews of empirical research find that NLP's core tenets are poorly supported.
The balance of scientific evidence reveals NLP to be a largely discredited pseudoscience.
Scientific reviews show it contains numerous factual errors, and fails to produce the results asserted by proponents.


That doesn't sound too good, does it?

NLP might be controversial Aggers, but its principles do work.

Tell somebody often enough that your view of what is right is right and they will eventually come to believe it. Once they have been convinced of that 'truth' it is almost impossible to convert them back. That is what CP does.

The military have used similar methods to turn spies for decades.

Thanks Frank, if facts are needed you are our man. Facts and figures that generally escape me.. However I have followed Common Purpose with interest and am amazed just how many MP 's are graduates and those in top positions of influence
Where their word is law....
Brian Gerrish has followed this organisation from the beginning, and he writes of the threats he has received for questioning their tactics.
This organisation if not only set up in UK, but also by all accounts in Europe and the USA.
