Tis rather nice here again.

I'm going for a bike ride with Herman the German.
He called at the house on Friday to inform me that he was now back from his holidays and raring to 'pedal like the breeze' with me on Sunday.
How could I say no?

Best get my padded shorts out again..how gorgeous will I look?!!!

Roast chicken, spicy home made wedges and lots of salad for dinner followed by a strawberry cheesecake.

Paco's tonight for the Malaga game..and will try to spot Conor in the crowd as he's going to La Rosaleda with a load of mates.

Good morning Aggers and all! It's sunny but cold here too. Billy will have a walk shortly but I've got a load of washing to put out to dry before then, I've also got some Spring bulbs to plant out which I want to get done today. When John gets back from his bike ride I'm going to make the Jambalaya which Di posted about a while ago.
Hopefully we'll get a long dry dog walk this afternoon too.

It's slightly less beautiful here than when I got up, it's clouding over; still really strong winds too.
I shall see if I feel up to the drive a bit later, might go to Sainsburys since we had to abandon the idea yesterday. Definitely not till after a Sunday sausage baguette though
Ally I only wondered the other say where Herman the German was these days

Don't know whether it would have happened anyway, but after using a little of the arnica balm yesterday the red/sore/swollen wrist is quite a lot better this morning - have got my watch back on

Herman goes back to Germany for a couple of months every summer to stay with his daughter and grandchildren Di.

He comes back even more full of energy than normal.

Morning everyone, another very sunny if cold start to the day, but that's often the case here - starts off gorgeous and sunny, then clouds over and rains by lunchtime

Di I think Sainsbury's is on the cards for us later as well, I've a mind to use up all my Nectar points to take advantage of that 25% off 6 bottles of wine offer they have on.....for C*****mas of course I think we might eat up there too, they do a rather nice roast in their café on a Sunday and it will save me cooking later
