a friend here went for implants,took a long time as he had to keep going back to Uk for personal reasons ,must have dragged on for 2 years at least ,cost was nearly 11,000 euros

Kaz I'm so sorry to hear you are having so much trouble You know we both share the same opinion of dentists....I'm not as brave as you despite having a marked overbite and overcrowding to boot .....I do admire you for even getting this far, let alone having such a palaver to go through .

It sounds to me that the fault lies with the dentist, surely they should be making sure they are putting the thing in correctly so it won't come out? Until that happens, no more money should be paid, IMHO! xxxx

Thanks Gal - I don't think they will try to charge me any more, from what I can gather from the websites I looked at last night, but if they do there will be an argument I can promise

I don't feel very brave, but it's kind of you to say so! I really didn't have a lot of choice, the gaps meant my other teeth were starting to move, with the risk of making my overbite worse and worst of all loosening the teeth. I could have ended up needing a lot more treatment if I'd ignored it The irony is that none of this will actually improve the look of my smile, as it is all towards the back, it's just damage limitation
