Well it's crawling its way along. She got the pension for which he had nominated her, and eventually all the advice she was getting about the rest of it not being her problem has got through to her, and she doesn't have the same panic attacks. It's all still fairly complicated and her only worry is that his family need to pay their share of the local taxes and charges in Spain, which they have not done to date, pleading that they can't afford it when everyone knows that he left his family a pretty large amount of money

Good afternoon all - it's sunny and mild here, although a little breezy. It was a different matter first thing though!

Got some housework to do today, and John's out tonight with some neighbour> not sure what I'll do yet, there's still no TV in the upstairs living room and if I sit in the downstairs one I'll be at the mercy of one or the other of the boys and what they want to watch!

Hope things work out okay for your friend Osc xx

Have a good day everyone!

Ah sure God love her, she was in a state today - she had just heard from the kennels in Spain that her older dog had a stroke and they put him to sleep this morning :   They had brought this dog to Spain from Ireland and she knew the time was coming, as he was 16 and had got very slow, but for it to happen while she was away.......she was so upset. Mr. Osc was with me, and she was delighted to see him and we did have a good old catchup.

Oh poor lady :(
It happens quite often though, my friends D's lovely miniature dachshund Arthur waited till he was in kennels then died in his sleep...later she was sure he did it on purpose so she didn't find him like that at home.
