We were similar Di - mum usually got a box of Malteasers, or those peppermint cream sweet with a fondant centre but without a choc covering. They were quite nice ;)

I'm not generally a 'bar' person, I love things like KitKats and Breakaways but they, like Tunnock's Tea Cakes, are more biscuity than a choc bar IMHO ;)

I'd choose a Twix I think if I had to, although there is always a biggish bar of milk chocolate in the house which we share, a couple of rows each on the odd night ;) I get sick of it if I have more than that. I did used to love those Frys bars, I liked the original one in the blue wrapper best, oh and I like Walnut whips too but not had one in years

Friday night was sweet night here as well. Dad would bring home a selection bag for us to tuck in to.

I never got into chocolate, except as chocolate. I don't like chocolate biscuits, or mousse, or cake, or mixed bars.............

I still like to get a bar of Lindt dark choc (80%ish) and put it in the freezer so that it breaks into smithereens when hit with a rolling pin. Just one little shard placed on my tongue to melt is enough. The after-taste lasts for ages. I can make one bar last for weeks. 8-)

I was pleased to see that Ikea had brought back the bags of sweet sized Daim bars when I was in there a couple of weeks ago. They'd always sold them, then stopped and started stocking their own much inferior version of them.
