Favourite chocolate bars?

Postby Diflower » 24 Oct 2013, 21:16

Since we've been discussing choccie on the Sainsburys thread and it's getting complicated...have made the title 'bars' plural ;)
Bars though, not individual chocs from a box - we have to have rules ;)

My favourite is a Wispa bar, could happily eat one every day - and it has to have been in the fridge, can't stand soggy choccy :D

Always love Lindt, the milk bars. My granny used to send me the Lindt animals for Easter, and another family friend would give me the Lindt mini-eggs so I learnt to love it very young. Nothing else is quite like Lindt :)

And love the Lindt dark choc orange intense - see, orange just has to have dark chocolate ;)
Terrys choc orange - dark only! (ok not actually a bar, but it is a whole 'thing' all the same flavour)
Cadburys dairy milk - but of course :)
Cadburys fruit & nut :)
Sainsburys dark fruit & nut ;) :)

Reeses Peanut Butter Cups are my absolute favourite
Tesco sell them and you get three cups in a pack for 63p, or 3 packs for £1.20. Cruelly, a Tesco Extra has recently opened and I have to pass it on the way home from the gym
I actually have one of these in the fridge. They're out of date now but I wouldn't have eaten them anyway, they're too special. I just take the pack out every now and again and smile

Other than that -
Wispa (I wish they'd bring the mint ones back)
Caramel
Star Bar
Snicker
Dairy Milk

Aldi do some nice bars too. They're in a pack of five for £1.29 and the praline one and the dark chocolate and marzipan one are especially nice.

Oh God Jo I hate those Reeses things
Bb's favourite is a Snickers ;)
My dad used to love Caramac, I haven't had one for years but a couple of years ago saw one in a shop and posted it to him :)

Toffee Crisp was a long-time favourite.
Oh, and when I first started work (aged 16) I'd have a bar of either Cadburys Country Style or that mint one...what was it called? Dark chocolate with crunchy minty bits - Ice Magic?? - in my desk drawer :)

Caramacs are lovely. They sell them in Home Bargains, in packs of three.

Toffee Crisps don't last long enough
