Musical chairs.

Imagine a fairly full bus.

On get a fairly old couple and she has to sit in one place and hubs has to sit behind. The young woman next to hubs offers to change places with his missus. He gets up and steps forward to allow the young woman to get out and move backwards. Missus then gets out of her seat to take the one vacated by the young woman, and hubs sits in beside her.

Meanwhile a thirtysomething male nips in and takes the seat occupied by the missus, this leaves the young woman seatless. Hubs, being a gentleman gets up and insist that the young woman takes his seat, and stands next to the thirtysomething.

As we go round a right-hand bend the old man lurches, elbow first, into the thirtysomething's ear. There are profuse apologies and explanations that hubs is not that steady on his feet nowadays. They a graciously accepted.

Those of us looking on know damned well that it was no accident. ;)

Old man 1 - 0 Thirtysomething.

:D :D :D :D Love it!!!!! :kick: :kick:

One thing I notice about living over here is how very much better the behaviour is on the buses compared to the Greater London/North Surrey area where I come from.......by both the passengers and the drivers!!!! 8-) 8-)
