to the dentist today to replace a filling that came out yesterday,got me in for 4pm,quite a big filling,quite a bill-50euros!!!

Vic, any visit to the dentist here is 50 euros :roll:

John paid £49 the other week for a check up, xrays, temporary filling and, later, an extraction.

I've paid £750 for a chrome plate - I am an NHS patient, but they only do plastic ones on the NHS and I hated the way the plastic ones fill in the whole of your upper palate :? The metal one is smaller, so I had to pay a private price. The bridge I finally get fitted next week is £250 :? It's a nightmare what dentistry costs now :(
