What a bloody stupid thing to do. Idiot.
Our primary school did a similar thing last year about crime scenes but did it very differently!!!
The Yr 6's acted out a whodunnit for the rest of the school and it was all to do with two teddy bears being stolen. The children were all dressed up as characters from Cluedo.
The Yr 5's led the investigation and the rest of the school had to look for clues and make news articles about it (filming themselves, writing newspapers articles). It lasted for the whole week, on and off, and incorporated loads of the curriculum in it - it even spilled over into lunchtimes with the children being able to interview the yr 6's and staff.
The teddies were eventually found in the head's office, having been "stolen" by her. She was led away by the two Yr 6 detectives to spend the afternoon washing the lunch pots.
That's the way it should be done for a bunch of 4 to 11 year olds - not desks overturned and children told that the school had been burgled!!!
Idiot teacher.
