A productive weekend!

Postby debih » 29 Sep 2013, 16:00

Well, we have sold the fireplace for £150 (although she isn't picking it up until tomorrow afternoon and I won't class it as properly sold until I have the money and she has the fireplace).

We have been trying to get around to advertising Micks landrover van for the last couple of weeks and this afternoon I was determined to do it.

He wrote the advert - one to go in the van window and at the local Landrover spares shop - I typed it up and he was just downloading photos from his phone when his mate rang to say he was interested in it. Fifteen minutes later he and his wife arrived and one cup of coffee and a gossip later it was sold. And for exactly the price he wanted.

And then they mentioned that they were selling his daughters Corsa. We are going to have a look at it next week - I'm not sure if I want it or not as it is 3 doors and I really want 5 but I know that it will have been really well looked after.

So a rather productive weekend!

Good result Debih - fingers crossed she turns up with the money ok :)

Re the Corsa - probably a good buy but 3 doors really are a nuisance ;)

A good productive time indeed, well done.

Have to agree about the 3 doors though you will manage.
