good day all,warm & sunny but still a bit breezy.last night was very windy with torrential rain for a couple hours,with thunder & lighting ,lost elec for a while

Speaking to some-one in Milfontes, which is further up on the west coast, it's chucking it down and the north of Portugal is being battered.

We just have showers and a fairly strong wind at the moment

But it's still quite warm

Have only been back a cup of tea's worth That wasn't fun- worst of the pain in my back is just below the left shoulder blade. It's at its worst if I lie on my back, so of course I don't and had forgotten just how much it hurts if I do!
I did take ibuprofen before I went but it was already hurting with the driving...the lady was very nice and told me exactly when I could move my head, then arms, to help
And they got me injected first go too

Had a nice cup of tea and slice of cake at the Macmillan unit; they'd had their big coffee morning and had cake left It was lovely, an American apple cake recipe, which I now have a copy of
