So I added a note saying "Joe is fully able to do that, and furthermore he knows how to correctly spell sentence" and I used a highlighter on their error

I like your style!!!!!

I must agree that so many people who should know better have such a poor understanding of correct spelling and proper English.

It's a sign of the times, I suppose. The abundance of 'texting' doesn't help.

I've noticed, too, that the verbal skills of many university students leaves much to be desired. Why do so many of them
commence a statement with, 'Yaaaair, Well I mean...' and then keep saying, 'You know' ?

I was given the advice, when at school, that if you listen to yourself when you are speaking, then that will improve your use of the language.
I have found that is a great way of improving one's communicative skills.

The other minor error that amuses me is the placing of a dot over a capital i (I) Once you have the habit of noticing this you will be surprised how often you see it.

Not quite as bad as putting or saying "should of" instead of should have. :( I do sometimes deliberately leave out words not really necessary for the meaning when typing in a hurry.

Oh I am guilty of that too Pederito, when posting on here or on Facebook - but the difference is that like yourself I can compose English sentences correctly when I need to. Unlike many of the teachers and students of today :?
