I'm sure I had a nail colour like this years ago...

And I have just broken a nail off - right right down low - ouch

But :kick: :kick: I think I've persuaded Grumpy that we can go away for a couple of days next month, before his birthday :kick: :kick:

I almost said, I think I've persuaded Grumpy to go away

I can dream, sometimes

And the colour is...?
Years ago - many, many years ago   - I had Biba nail colours, bright blue, and green, and tights to match - God I loved those :D
I had yellow shoes, but they were for summer, don't think I wore those with the nail colours. But I did have the most gorgeous bottle green, platform soled soft leather boots *sigh*

And I lived in Chiswick in the Biba days and lerved that shop.

Grumpy still calls me a hippy :o

I had a pair of Doc Martins, bright red suede, with yellow and black laces - loved 'em.

And my brother came to my first wedding in Turnham Green wearing a pair of bright blue platforms (think Elton John) (well, it was 1972  ) with gold stripes on the platforms and gold stars on the front.

My parents went bonkers    But as I was with him when he bought them...

Kids today have just no idea how much Biba meant to us :D

He's doing ok thanks Ton - we think. There's really no guidance as to how he should be, or rather how his eye should be. But it's only a little bit red, has been improving each day; he can't see b*gger all out of it though :? The follow-up appointment isn't till next Thursday,
We've decided we're going out tomorrow. The weather's meant to be nice, and he hasn't left the house for 11 days. He can manage ok here, it's familiar, but wouldn't be very safe walking anywhere.
We're planning on a drive through the forest, a visit to a farm shop, and lunch somewhere - I can paint a bamboo stick white if needs be :D

Ooh just thought - whereabouts in Chiswick Ton? Not that that's any good unless I can remember the road...a friend had a house, divided into flats, I used to go and stay, if I was going out late or the trains were on strike, and always when he had a party...bum, can't remember
Might have it in an old diary though, or it might come to me ;)
