It's just started to rain here and it's so windy and bitterly cold. I wore gloves when I walked Billy this morning :|

That's a good idea about a slow cooker for J! He can have a lovely meal ready for when he gets home!

  A week ago in Brum it was lovely. :o

Three days ago it was lovely too - the temperatures have dropped SO quickly!

Kaz wrote:Yes Ton I have told her that, about the deposit ;) There was already a big burn mark on one of the kitchen worktops when they moved in though, so I hope they don't try to blame the current occupants for that  Maybe I should have taken a photo as I would quite like my £250 back at the end of the year :?

<rant mode> Like £6k plus in accomodation fees per student wouldn't cover a bit of cleaning though at the end of the year  ;) There are six students in each flat so that's over £36k in rent per flat...........Geez Unite must rake it in these days :? ;) </rant mode>

Ahhh that's better  ;)

Has an inventory been taken Kaz and if not, perhaps the students could do one with photos being taken where necessary? xx

I think I'll ask B about it - wish I'd taken a few piccies now. I think I'll ask B to do it 8-)

Jo was that :o at the cost? Yep isn't it shocking - £15k per year with tuition fees :? About 12k of which will have to be repaid, the rest I'm topping her up with and that's before her food, and other expenses :? No wonder there were student riots when they first talked about this three years ago - in fact point me at one! :-P ;)

;)

Whoops am <rant></rant> again

I know Ally but what can you do? You have to give them the best education you can :? Even if it flipping bankrupts you

What really makes me cross is that they based our income, and therefore the percentage of loan she would get, on our income two years ago - which happened to be a year I was working and Mick got lots of overtime    If it had gone on this last tax year we'd have got more towards it............
