I'd enjoyed it all along, it was intriguing - and then it suddenly turned into some kind of horror film bloodfest :?

The ending/tying up loose ends could have been so much better, it was a shame :(

I agree Di, it was all a bit too dark and one too many red herrings along the way.

Very clever writing to keep all those separate storylines going all at the same time.

Three episodes of excellent writing and acting. The house was the star and the storyline reminded me of Ruth Rendell and her gently paced books about people living seemingly normal suburban lives whilst all the time they have secrets that slowly unfurl into deep psychological horrors. David Threlfall was good. He didn't look as if he'd survive at the end but I hope he does and there are more stories.

No he didn't survive Fugi. He didn't want to die alone like all the rest of them had, that was what he meant. That was what I thought anyway

I really enjoyed this but was disappointed that he died at the end (I also assumed that he died).

Maybe they've left it like that so depending on audience reactions they can bring Len back and tell us he survived and make more programmes with his character intact? I read somewhere that people are suggesting how to continue the series with The House and storylines based on the occupants and their past and how they got to be as we saw them-including Len. Sad copper wasn't he?

Loads better than Broadchurch  Watching that was like wading through treacle. Eight episodes of that and only three of What Remains? Makes no sense to me.
